In a recent project at Marvel Stadium, AFL House aimed to transform a standard staircase into a captivating design feature. The objective was to enhance the space with a visually striking and a focal point that would invite visitors into a restaurant , making the staircase not just a functional element but an engaging part of the environment.
The Solutions
To address the challenge of a low-resolution floral print, our team used advanced software to upscale the image, ensuring it would appear sharp and vibrant at the larger scale required for the staircase. Once the image quality was optimised, we custom-cut non-combustible aluminum panels to fit each step precisely, creating a durable and safe foundation for the design. These panels not only supported the visual appeal but also met safety standards necessary for public spaces. Finally, the floral print was applied to the panels and installed seamlessly on the staircase transforming access to the new restaurant precinct.”
