Digitally Printed Window Film, Precision Cut Vinyl, Wall Graphics and Signage

Project Scope

Due to the Melbourne Underground Project, the original McDonald's store in Melbourne's CBD was closed. This prompted the creation of a brand-new site at Town Hall, designed to be a vibrant yet sophisticated space that aligns with McDonald's brand identity while adapting to the unique characteristics of the Melbourne CBD.

Tint Design was appointed by McDonald's to translate their brand identity into visually appealing and functional design elements at their new Town Hall restaurant. Tint Design provided digitally printed window graphics, large wall graphics in the shape of the iconic McDonald's 'M', precision-cut vinyl 'coffee bean' decals, and strategically placed white and yellow stripes. Additionally, Tint Design implemented illuminated signage solutions to ensure high visibility and directional recognition.

Featuring the iconic golden arches, the oversized yellow vinyl graphic serves as a prominent focal point upon entering the space. Complementing this centerpiece, white and yellow vinyl stripes were installed on the second story to create a striking wall feature.

    Precision Cut White Vinyl

To ensure consistency throughout the design, precision-cut white vinyl 'coffee bean' decals, similar to the window graphics, were installed to complement both the lighting and the cement-look walls seamlessly.

    Illuminated Signage

Tint Design installed illuminated signage at the ordering zone to clearly indicate where customers can place and pick up their orders.

The new McDonald's Town Hall site re-emerged as a visually stunning and sophisticated space, successfully reestablishing McDonald's presence in Melbourne's CBD. The innovative graphics and signage solutions provided by Tint Design not only enhanced the store's aesthetic appeal but also maintained brand consistency.

Through strategic design and meticulous execution, Tint Design created a space that is both inviting and true to McDonald's global identity.
