Overview of the Project
Delivering custom-framed canvases to enhance the Ronald McDonald House in Parkville with a design that speaks to warmth, connection, and cultural relevance was the main goal. In order to create a unified yet divided visual effect, our team was tasked with scaling and printing the design over three canvases of Merindah-Gunya’s artwork, "Me & You."
Client Goals
The goal was to incorporate artwork that enhances the space's aesthetic appeal and holds meaning for the charity’s mission. The artwork needed to bring comfort, embody inclusivity, connection, and unity
Project Execution & Custom Elements
-
Artwork Selection and Customisation
From Tint Design’s Indigenous collection, Merindah-Gunya’s "Me & You" design complements the inviting atmosphere of the Ronald McDonald House and offering a sense of unity and connection. The artwork’s cultural significance and visual harmony made it the perfect choice to reinforce the arworks story of spiritual connection and unity.
-
Scaling and Layout Of Design
To achieve the intended visual effect, Tint Design scaled “Me & You” across three canvas frames, dividing the artwork in a way that each segment flowed into the next without disrupting the central theme. The design was adjusted so that key elements of the image aligned across all three panels.
-
Installation for Maximum Impact
Once the canvases were prepared, the final step was to position them in RMHC’s space in a way that would create the desired focal point. The placement was carefully selected to ensure that the artwork was visible from multiple angles within the room, maximising its influence on the overall ambiance.
The Outcome:
This project illustrates how customisation and thoughtful design choices can transform artwork into an impactful and culturally aligned addition to any space. Through these tailored solutions, The Ronald McDonald House vision of a warm, inclusive environment was brought to life and created an installation that is both visually and emotionally powerful.
